The purpose of the role is to assist the Property Finance Relationship Directors with originating new business within Leumi UK’s risk and return parameters and managing a portfolio of loans effectively to achieve targets set with reference to the Property Finance team’s KPIs. Working as part of a team to deliver the business’ goals and supporting brand awareness of Leumi UK as a specialist real estate lender across UK & Europe.
Responsibilities:
- Account Management – to assist RDs with new and existing customers, providing a consistently high level of service, day-to-day management and monitoring of accounts, completion of credit applications, creation of reports and drawdown of facilities
- Industry Awareness – develop a good working knowledge and understanding of the Property market in the UK, including what other real estate lenders are doing.
- Workflow management – to manage and prioritise work commitments to meet team objectives.
- Brand Awareness – using new and existing networks to actively promote the Leumi UK Property Finance brand through a variety of channels including attending in person industry related events.
- Risk Management – demonstrate a sound knowledge and understanding of Leumi UK’s credit policy with an ability to identify and manage risks appropriately for both new and existing loans in accordance with AML, operational, conduct, data protection, IT and other related policies.
- Communication and Presentation – to be able to interact with customers, colleagues and professionals using a multitude of communication and presentation methods.
The ideal candidate will have:
- University degree and / or other relevant professional qualifications or experienced gained from time working in the real estate finance market.
- Candidates with prior experience in commercial lending and/or an existing knowledge of the real estate sector would be preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills with aptitude to interact and influence stakeholders.
- Proven ability of working in a team with strong interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrable track record of being a self-motivated individual with a can-do attitude.
