Job Title: Client Executive – Structured Finance

Department: Structured Finance

Line Manager: Head of Structured Finance

Corporate Title: Analyst

Headcount Type: Fixed Term – 14 months

Location: Brighton

The purpose of the role is to provide clients with a high quality, responsive and accurate prepayment and administrative service and to provide a similar level of administrative support to Client Managers - whilst maintaining the security of finance made available.

Responsibilities:

• Provision of administrative support to Client Managers

• Administer prepayments to clients in line with approvals and procedures from receipt of request through to timely transmission of payment

• Creation and maintenance of initial client documentation and files. Maintain accurate records of files and documentation

• Preparation for and participation in client take-ons

• Analyse client financial information on computer spreadsheets

• Advise Client Managers of underlying trends and assist on the preparation of and participation in client review process

• Monitor client security, maintaining and analysing financial statements, reconciliation’s/ageings, in-house statistics, external audit reports and other pertinent data in accordance with Company Guidelines and best practise

• Any other duties which may be allocated by the Head of Structured Finance or Directors from time to time

• Attending and taking part in company training courses as required

The ideal candidate will have:

• Prior experience working in Invoice Finance or Asset Based Lending roles essential.

• Experience in a customer facing role and comfortable talking to clients.

• Comfortable with working to deadlines.

• Experience in working with numbers and performing calculations.

• A good working knowledge with Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.

• Experience working within a team environment.

• A-Level (or equivalent) qualification level preferred.

• At least a Grade C GCSE qualification (or equivalent) in Maths.

Whilst not essential, the ideal candidates will have:

• Some familiarity with financial accounting statements (Profit & Loss / Balance Sheet).

• A working knowledge of Risk Factor and Validis (or other data extraction platform).

• Experience in administering Syndicated facilities with other banks / financial institutions.

• Successful completion of UK Finance Foundation or Certificate course.
